The Chinatown Parade Is Back on January 22, 2023!
After a two-year hiatus, the Chinatown Spring Festival Parade is returning for a spectacular in-person event, rain or shine!
Taking place on the first day of the Year of the Rabbit, the parade will feature the largest assembly of traditional lion dancers in Canada for an energetic, family friendly event throughout Chinatown.
In addition to the parade, there will be festivals and events at participating businesses and organizations on January 21st and 22nd.
We are so excited to welcome you back to Chinatown to celebrate in person, and encourage you to visit the many local shops, restaurants, and cultural centres while you're here.
The Chinatown Spring Festival Parade is organized by the Chinese Benevolent Association of Vancouver, Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Vancouver, Vancouver Chinatown Merchants Association, SUCCESS, Chinese Freemasons Vancouver Branch and Shon Yee Benevolent Association of Canada.
